Dealing With Gout

Gout can occur very quickly and is very painful. You cold be walking down the street without a care in the world, and the next minute you're in excruciating pain. Your first instinct may be to take aspirin to relieve that pain, but that is a very bad idea. Aspirin slows down the excretion of unic acid which will only make the condition worse. You are much better off taking ibuprofen which is also an anti-inflammatory painkiller, but it does not aggravate the condition like aspirin. Try to drink lots of water as this will help to dissolve the uric acid crystals.

When an acute attack occurs, you need to stay off your feet as much as possible and keep the affected joint elevated. If you can stand the pain, apply an ice pack for about 20 minutes as the cold will dull the pain and bring down the swelling. Don't apply the ice directly to the skin, wrap it up in a cloth. Use the ice pack three times per day for about three days.

\"Fish Liver Oil\"

You may have heard of the cherry remedy, which is an old folk remedy for gout. Cherries contain compounds that help to neutralize the uric acid in your blood. Cherries are also a good source of anti-inflammatory compounds. There are no complicated recipes with the cherry remedy, simply eat about 20 cherries when you feel an attack of gout coming on. If you cannot find them fresh, then go for the canned option. They can be fresh or dried, it does not make a difference. Recent studies suggest that 20 cherries is equivalent to 1 aspirin when it comes to relieving pain. If you don't like cherries, strawberries and raspberries have a similar effect but you are going to have to eat a lot more.

Fish oil and flax seed oil can help to relieve the inflammation in the joints as they contain a rich anti-inflammatory agent. The recommended dose of flax seed oil is 1 -3g a day. It is best to rather buy the oil rather than the capsules as you would have to consume about 12 capsules to get the same result from 1 tablespoon of oil. The recommended dose for fish oil is 6000mg a day. Make sure that you do not take fish liver oil or cod liver oil at this dosage as you will be taking in too much vitamin A and D. Always speak to a medical practitioner before you start taking supplements, especially if you are on medication or have other medical conditions.

There are a number of foods that you should avoid if you suffer from gout. High protein foods and foods that contain chemical compounds known as purines can raise the level of uric acid in the body. Avoid meat based gravy, liver, kidneys and sweetbreads. Shellfish such as mussels should also be avoided. Also stay away from anchovies, sardines and herring, fired foods, refined carbohydrates such as white flour, oatmeal, yeast containing foods like beer and baked goods. Certain vegetables should also be avoided such as asparagus, peas, beans, spinach and cauliflower.

If you symptoms persist or get worse, then please go and see your doctor.

Hair Loss - Women and Vitamin Deficiency

One of the things women need to be aware of is their nutrition. Vitamins are essential tools in caring for your body. In proper balance, vitamins help keep the body in as a healthy a state as possible. Not having enough of certain vitamins can cause any number of health conditions including hair loss. Hair loss, women, and vitamin deficiency is a bad connection.

Vitamins for Hair Health

\"Fish Liver Oil\"

Vitamin A is stored in the liver. If too much is consumed, the excess will be stored in other parts of the body. This could cause symptoms such as headaches, nausea, lethargy, headaches and hair loss. Too little vitamin A can cause coarse hair and dry skin. Food sources of vitamin A include cabbage, apricots, carrots, peaches, eggs, milk, cheese, and even fish liver oil.

Vitamin E is important in hair loss. Vitamin E is said to be helpful in preventing the loss of hair and in stalling the process of hair going gray. Food sources of vitamin E are green leafy vegetables, seeds, dried beans, nuts, and spinach to name a few. Your blood pressure could rise when taking vitamin E so it suggested that if you have high blood pressure that you talk to your doctor before taking vitamin E.

Inositol is a B vitamin found in citrus fruits, whole grains, liver, and in yeast. An inositol deficiency can not only cause hair loss, but eczema as well. It is important in keeping the scalp and hair healthy. As an added benefit, it has also been shown to lower blood cholesterol levels.

Vitamin H is also known as Biotin. Like vitamin E, it helps to prevent hair loss and the graying of hair. Biotin is found in food sources such as egg yolk, kidney, liver, yeast, and milk. It may also be of benefit in nail health and skin health.

Vitamin B group vitamins related to hair loss are B3, B5, and B12. Vitamin B 3 is found in meats, fish, wheat germ and brewer's yeast. Vitamin B 5 is found in egg yolk, meats, and yeast. Vitamin B6 is found in bananas, white and sweet potatoes, as well as spinach.

Eating fresh fruits and vegetables particularly citrus fruits and tomatoes are good sources of folic acid. Eating whole and fortified grain products and beans (lentils) are also sources of folic acid.

Consuming protein is also very good for keeping your hair healthy. Most people tend not to eat enough protein. It can be found in meat, fish, chicken, soy, and eggs. At least one serving per day should be eaten.

There are trace minerals that can benefit your hair such as zinc. It is helpful to take a multivitamin that also contains such trace minerals. The Daily Recommended Allowance is listed on the label.

Deficiencies of these vitamins and minerals can cause a multitude of health conditions. This includes hair loss. This can be prevented by taking the proper amount and eating a healthy diet. On the other hand, consuming too high a dose of them can also cause health conditions. Your doctor or a nutritionist can help you to decide what the proper amount for your needs is appropriate.

Conclusion

Vitamins as well as trace minerals are an integral part of maintaining healthy hair. Hair loss, women, and vitamin deficiency are preventable with the intake of the proper amounts of vitamins as well as some trace minerals. A healthy diet may not provide the daily recommended allowance and it is advised that you should take a multivitamin supplement. Some types of hair loss can be prevented; others can be treated.

How to Make Your Hair Grow Faster Using Vitamins

For your hair to be healthy, shiny and for the "how" to make it grow faster, Proteins and vitamins are essential. Don't forget that the natural health of it will also largely be dependent upon your genes. If you have weaker hair, then proteins and vitamins can be used to treat it and also keep you both healthy at the same time.

It should be noted that there is a marked difference between short and long hair, in the way nutrients are maintained. Nutrients, secreted by an oily build-up and naturally emitted by the scalp, are retained much longer in shorter hair. During brushing this oily secretion will be distributed into the rest of your hair. When it is longer, however, you will receive less of this nutrition, particularly at the ends of the hair and therefore you need to obtain it from some other source, namely vitamins and proteins.

\"Fish Liver Oil\"

To work out a regime that suits you and your hair type, you should consult a nutritionist who will help you set up a programme that will be effective. Once you are on this regimen, if it has been properly worked out, you should see results in two to three months.

The key vitamins that can help protect and maintain your hair and its growth are the following.

Vitamin A

This assists in the production of healthy sebum in the scalp. Fish liver oil, eggs, orange fruits, vegetables/fruits like carrots, peaches and apricots contain it too. Green vegetables like cabbage, spinach, diary products like milk and cheese, are also all capable of supplying Vitamin A to your system.

Vitamin C

Strawberries, kiwi, pineapples, oranges, lemons and other citrus fruits are rich in Vitamin C and form an excellent source of nutrition for your hair. It can also help maintain healthy hair as well as the health of your skin.

Vitamin E This enhances circulation around the scalp, improves the condition of your hair and is essential for healthy hair.

Vitamin B3 Also known as Niacin, it is essential for the health of your hair and to keep it strong. It helps to produce Keratin which prevents greying and potential hair loss. Niacin will enhance the circulation in the scalp and improve the condition of the hair and in this respect is similar to vitamin E.

Vitamins B12, B6 and B5 These also contribute measureably to the health of your hair. Taking these as a food supplement or directly through diet will not only help maintain healthy hair but also regulate your general health.

Fish Liver Oils: A Brief Comparison

The term "fish oil" is used to refer only to oils extracted from the muscle tissue of cold-water fish like salmon and sardines. Of course cod liver oil comes from fish too, and is therefore technically also a fish oil yet it is not referred to as fish oil, but specifically as "cod liver oil". In this article we look into the essential fatty acid content of liver oils from a few species of fish.

The essential fatty acids eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) are needed for human health, but we cannot synthesize them ourselves and so have to obtain them from our diet. What is the essential fatty acid content of oil from cod liver? According to US Department of Agriculture Nutrient Data Laboratory (USDA NDL) statistics one hundred grams of it contains 6.9 grams of EPA and 11.0 g of DHA. It is available in liquid form or as pills or capsules. However, codfish is an endangered species, and cod fisheries worldwide are experiencing pressure from overfishing.

\"Fish Liver Oil\"

You don't necessarily have to get your essential fatty acids from cod liver oil. Oil extracted from salmon liver, which is also commercially available, has a very favorable fatty acid profile, with 13.2 grams of EPA and 18.2 grams of DHA per 100 grams (USDA NDL). Another species of fish that is being studied for its potential as a source of essential fatty acids is the longnose skate Raja rhina, a seabottom-dwelling fish of which presently only the large flat pectoral fins or "wings" are used for human consumption. It is considered a bycatch, or unintentional byproduct of the Alaska and West coast fishing industry. A publication from the US Department of Agriculture shows that longnose skate liver oil contains 16 g EPA and 17.7 g DHA per 100 grams, a value comparable to that of salmon liver. For comparison, one hundred grams of chicken livers contain negligible amounts of these fatty acids.

A safe daily dose of any of these oils is closer to one to two teaspoons a day. One hundred grams of oil comes to about 7 tablespoons. That much fish liver oil would contain toxic amounts of vitamin A. Two teaspoons of cod, salmon or longnose skate liver oil would provide about one tenth of the amounts shown above for 100 grams, plus abundant amount of vitamins A and D. If you'd rather get just the essential omega-3 fatty acids without the vitamin A or D present in fish liver oils, you might prefer supplementation with fish oil instead. All liver oil contains cholesterol, which is only present in very small amounts (1 mg per gram or less) in fish oil.

Another great advantage of the drug is its effect is more long-lasting than regular creams rich in vitamin A. Nevertheless, despite its efficiency for genital warts removal, you shouldn't be too complacent about it. There are known side effects that include redness and swelling.

Also, please keep in mind that Imiquimod's not a cure for warts. In fact new warts can develop while you're treating your current ones. nUse natural ingredients to boost your immune system and get rid of warts of good.

There's definitely a good reason why our ancestors looked so healthy and happy. It's because they relied on natural ingredients and time tested methods to cure certain ailments. They used these methods to remove warts.

Vitamin A: What It Does in Your Body, and Where Can You Get It

Vitamin A

Different compounds fall under the category of vitamin A, for example Retinal and Retinol. These are also known as performed vitamin A. Retinal is an aldehyde, whereas Retinol is an alcohol. Studies suggest that Retinal plays an important role in gene transcription. Trucker's Complete Nutrition is an excellent source of vitamin A. Each serving offers 10,000 IU of vitamin A.

\"Fish Liver Oil\"

Vitamin A Benefits

Vitamin A is very important for immune system of the human body. Skin, lining the digestive and urinary tracks, contains Retinol. This lining restricts the entrance of various infectious microbes and other harmful materials. Retinoic acid and vitamin A are also essential for the formation of white blood cells, which are very important for fighting different infectious materials, hence strengthening the immune system. Red blood cells help in absorption of oxygen. These cells are formed from the stem cells which themselves are formed by the help of retinoids. Different studies suggest that Vitamin A is helpful in reducing growth of cancer in different parts of human body for example liver, breast, colon and skin.

Retinoic Acid, a special form of Vitamin A, plays an important role in the structure of human genes. It can also influence transcription rate of the gene, which can effect formation of other proteins formed in human body. Retinoic Acid is also very important for cellular differentiation. Therefore vitamin A plays a key role in growth of human body. Retinoic acid and Retinol are helpful in development of embryo.

Vitamin A is very important for human sight. After complex chemical reactions, Retinol gets binds with a protein called opsin to form Rhodopsin. Rod cells, which are inside human eye, contain Rhodopsin which aids viewing in low light conditions.

Vitamin A Deficiency

Deficiency of Vitamin A can weaken the immune system, hence making human body prone to infections. Its deficiency may also lead to respiratory problems. Acute deficiency of Vitamin A in children may lead to night blindness. Mild deficiency of vitamin A may cause dryness of skin and eyes and Bitot's spots.

Viatmin A Interaction with drugs

Several studies suggest that combination of vitamin A, along with other drugs may lead to serious consequences. Medicines that must not be used with vitamin A include weight loss and cholesterol-lowering drugs, blood thinning products, birth control medications. Antacids and alcohol should also be avoided along with the use of Vitamin A. It is therefore recommended that while using vitamin A supplements you should first consult your healthcare provider.

Vitamin A Dietary Sources and Supplementation

Vitamin A can be found naturally in vegetables like carrots, sweet potatoes and spinach etc. Egg yolk, fish-liver oil, milk, cheese and butter are also good natural sources for the vitamin. Vitamin A is required by human body only in minute amounts, its excess may cause headaches and skin rashes.

Clear Your Acne - Naturally!

Most people who suffer from acne go out and spend good money on common over-the-counter acne treatment products. The truth is, most of these products are full of chemicals that can actually slow down the healing of acne, and irritate your skin, causing farther breakouts.

When an acne product has 20 ingredients listed on it, it can be hard to know if one of those ingredients is actually stopping you from having success. It can be even harder when you can't pronounce the ingredient, much less know what it is and how it is going to affect your skin.

Acne

Most mainstream acne treatments are not only much more expensive than common household items, but they also don't always work as well either. With that in mind, I will list some basic household items that can work wonders on clearing up your skin.

Baking soda - A very cheap cooking ingredient that most people have in their homes already, baking soda can be used as a great scrub. The purpose of a scrub is to exfoliate the skin, removing dead skin that can eventually clog pores and lead to acne spots.
To start off, you'll want to mix a small amount of baking soda with some water for form a paste. Baking soda is very effective as a scrub, so you want to be sure to be extra careful when applying it to your face. Gently massage the paste into your skin for ten to fifteen seconds. Then rinse the baking soda off, and pat your face dry with a clean towel.

Apple Cider Vinegar - Though most people that use vinegar to treat acne use the apple cider form of vinegar, you can also use plain old regular vinegar. Regardless of which type you use, vinegar can be very helpful with it comes to clearing up acne. It can kill off acne causing bacteria, balance your skin's pH, and absorb extra oil on your skin.

Starting with clean, dry skin, apply diluted vinegar (eight parts water to one part vinegar) directly to your skin with a cotton ball, and leave it on. If you want, you can also use a stronger vinegar solution (say, 2 or 3 parts water to 1 part vinegar), and apply it directly to problem areas, rinsing it off after ten minutes.

Lemon or lime juice can also be substituted for vinegar. Both of these juices are rich in citric acid, and can exfoliate your skin very well, halting the growth of acne spots, as well as fading previous, non-active acne quicker.

Egg Whites - Rich in protein, egg whites can be used as a mask to heal and rebuild your skin. It can also help to absorb excess oil from your skin.

To start off, crack an egg, removing the yolk so that just the egg whites are left behind. Beat these egg whites, and apply them directly to your face. Let it sit for fifteen minutes, and then rinse the egg off.

Oatmeal - As odd as it may seem, oatmeal can absorb unwanted oil and draw out impurities which reside deep in your skin. Cook some plain oatmeal like you would for consumption. Let it cool off, and rub it over your clean skin. Let it sit for a while, like you would a mask, and then rinse off. If you do this on a regular basis, you should begin to start noticing results soon. It may feel funny, but it works!

Tea Tree Oil - TTO is a commonly used all-natural household antiseptic, which you can pick up at most drugstores or supermarkets. You can apply TTO directly to acne spots to kill bacteria, or, if you strongly dilute it with another oil (such as jojoba oil), over your entire face.
Tea tree gel can be easier to apply than the oil, and many are made for applying over large areas of skin, so they aren't quite as strong as straight TTO and do not need to be diluted.

Pantothenic Acid (Also known as Vit. B5) - Pantothenic acid can be taken in large quantities for the benefit of acne reduction. B5 works by helping your body to metabolize fats which would otherwise be later turned into sebum (oil) and excreted through the skin. Small amounts of B5 won't help though, and it has to be taken several times a day.

To help with acne, you will need to take 2.5 grams of pantothenic acid (the powder form is much easier to take), 4 times per day, for a total of 10 grams per day. Powdered B5 can be purchased from vitamin stores.

Aloe Vera - Aloe Vera has been used for many years in kitchens for topical application to burns. Another benefit of aloe is that it can prevent scaring, fade marks and help heal acne spots.

You now have an idea of some basic household items you can use on your skin, that work better than many OTC acne products, and are much cheaper to use. Since we have only really covered basic acne treatments, you can always take this to another level and take all natural, internal acne treatments.

This sums up our basic list of natural alternatives for chemical based acne treatment products. You can take this a step farther by attacking your acne from the inside out. Acne has been shown numerous times to be very closely affected by the digestive system, so keeping your entire digestive system working as smooth as possible can help reduce acne. I will help give you a basic idea of some all natural products you can take to help clear up acne.

Cucumber, lemon and carrot juice, brewer's yeast, and active charcoal pills are all capable of helping the digestive system function normally. Since the digestive system is closely related with the health of the skin, they should help reduce acne breakouts. Flax seed can also be wonderful for helping your skin heal faster.

How to Get Rid of Your Pimples Fast

How to get rid of your pimples fast - a question asked by millions of people every day. If you suffer from pimples you will be pleased to know that they can be controlled and eventually cured without spending money on drugs, visits to dermatologists or any other wonder products touted in the media. I had acne from when I was 13 until I was 22 years of age; acne appeared on my son's face when he was 13 and I decided to help him deal with it so he did not have to go through the agony I went through, so he never had to ask the question how to get rid of pimples fast. Pimples or more correctly acne can quickly ruin a person's self-image, but there are simple solutions to this problem.

The first thing any pimple sufferer needs to understand is that any "disease", regardless of its medical diagnosis, is a result of the clogging up of body tissues. As the body fights to clear or unclog, the process is manifested in various ways.

Pimples

The body works to rid itself of the toxins and because the skin is the second most important eliminating organ (after the lungs), pimples are merely an indication that you need to cleanse internally and implement very simple measures to clear the outer, visible, symptoms as the cleansing process continues.

How do I do an internal cleanse?

The best, quickest way to do an internal cleanse is to have a water or a juice fast. This process / cleansing must be undertaken with care but with a fast's unmatched ability to restore skin / get rid of pimples fast you will see a drastic improvement in your skin condition at the end of a 3 day fast.

Before commencing a fast you must make a change in your diet and eliminate all mucus (or acid) forming foods such as processed / junk / fast foods, confectioneries and carbonated soft drinks; you need to eat more wholesome and natural foods such as fresh fruits and leafy vegetables, nuts, root vegetables, fresh juices - all foods that are mucus (or alkaline-forming) binding.

Search for 'mucus forming and binding foods' in a search engine such as Yahoo or Google so you have a list of these.

Then you need to learn (quickly) when and how to eat these correct foods. It has been shown that the worst meal we have is breakfast because the body goes through a natural cleansing process from twelve midnight until twelve noon and breakfast interrupts this cleansing period; the body then goes through a building program from twelve noon until twelve midnight, and it is during this period that your food intake should occur.

How to get rid of pimples fast.
A suggested simple daily menu plan to get rid of pimples fast (remember, this is a 'fast' in order to rid your body of toxins that are causing the pimples):

Early Morning:
A large glass of fresh fruit juice (squeeze it yourself), or preferably plain iced water.

Middle of The Day:
A meal of any fruit that is in season e.g. Apples, Melons, Berries. Do not mix the fruits at one meal.

Evening:
Fresh, home-made salads with simple dressing made with Lemon juice, olive oil and uniodized salt

Or

Raw and / or cooked root vegetables such as Potatoes, Celery, Carrots

Do not drink liquids with your meals as liquids tends to dilute the digestive juices in your stomach which then slows digestion and assimilation and increases the tendency for constipation. If you must drink water after a meal, wait a full hour.

This simple but extremely effective dietetic change has been known to get rid of pimples in as little as three days.

How do I do an external cleanse?

- change your pillow case every other night (sleep on one side of it the first night, turn it over for the second night)

- do not touch your face with unwashed hands at any time. Need to scratch - use a tissue.

- wash your hair with a mild shampoo every night or use a wraparound night cap that covers the hair and wash the cap every morning. Hair carries bacteria and will transfer to your face via the pillow.

- steam your face at home to help the skin eliminate toxins through sweating (a bowl of boiling water on the table, cover your head with a towel), or use the steam room at a gym.

- exercise to help the body in detoxification and metabolism; exercise as much as possible - this may be in the from of running, jogging or simply light aerobic-style exercise to music.

Pimples, as impossible as it may seem at times, are very easy to control without drugs and using all natural methods.

Do not become disheartened - just a few short days and you will be able to go out and flaunt your smooth face to the world!

Foods That Cause Acne

The embarrassing condition of acne has been blamed on a wide variety of causes throughout the ages. Many people unjustly blame individuals with acne-prone skin of being dirty or failing to wash their faces properly. This is obviously far from the truth as acne can strike anyone, regardless of their personal hygiene habits. Others believe that eating large amounts of chocolate will ensure an acne breakout. This is also not the case, but research has linked acne to choices a person's diet. We are going to discuss some types of foods that cause acne.

Foods that are highly acidic tend to cause acne as they create an imbalance in your body's pH levels. The foods you should avoid include the following:

Acne

  • Vegetables: lentils, squash, corn
  • Fruits: currants, plums, prunes, cranberries and blueberries
  • Grains: barley, cornstarch, oatmeal, wheat bran, amaranth, rice, rye, wheat germ, noodles, macaroni, spaghetti, bread, soda crackers, white flour, rolled oats and wheat flour
  • Beans & Legumes: chick peas, green peas, kidney beans, pinto beans, red beans, soy beans, black beans and white beans
  • Dairy Products: butter, ice cream, processed cheese, butter and ice milk
  • Nuts & Butters: peanuts, pecans, walnuts, cashews and peanut butter
  • Animal Proteins: bacon, beef, pork, salmon, lamb, fish, clams, cod, mussels, sausage, scallops, turkey, venison, shrimp and lobster
  • Fats & Oils: canola oil, lard, olive oil, sesame oil, sunflower oil, hemp seed oil and safflower oil
  • Sweeteners: corn syrup, sugar and carob
  • Alcohol: spirits, hard liquor, wine and beer
  • Condiments: vinegar, pepper, ketchup and mustard
  • Drinks: coffee and soft drinks
  • Drugs & chemicals: aspirin, pesticides, tobacco and herbicides
If you want to prevent or minimize acne breakouts, you should replace acidic food with alkaline food choices. Some examples include carrots, cucumbers, garlic, lettuce, tomatoes, apples, grapes, lemons, pineapples, raisins, strawberries, peaches, oranges and almonds. You may be surprised to see so many citrus fruits on this list. The reason is that the specific citric acid they each contain has an alkalinizing effect on your body that will actually reduce the level of acidity, rather than increase it.

Rather than making an effort to avoid one specific type of food, it is better to avoid groups of acidic foods that will enhance your acne. Replace some of the choices in the first list with more alkaline foods from the second list. You will soon discover that small changes in your diet can produce big results!

What Is The Best Moisturizer For Acne-Prone Skin?

When trying to find what is the best moisturizer for acne-prone skin, you will be amazed to find how many lotions, creams, rubs, and masks are available as treatment options for your acne-prone skin.

Trying to label one over another as the "best..." is extremely difficult considering the pros of the ones you have already researched. Without trying to make a list of "the best" moisturizer for acne-prone skin, there are in fact a few that manage to hold the top positions when researched, and are successful to date for treating acne. Finding what is the best moisturizer for acne-prone skin is possible by keeping in mind what it needs to include in the contents and what it claims to produce. The following are some key ingredients and expectations that are necessary to look for in choosing what is the best moisturizer for acne-prone skin:

  • When cleansing your face with the moisturizing cleanser, gentle is the key. Your hands are the preferred "tool" for washing your face, as a towelette or wash cloth could be entirely too rough for your skin. If you are not gentle with your washing techniques, the chances of the acne worsening or resulting in scarring is practically eminent. An excellent moisturizing cleanser should effectively clean your skin when used in a gentle cleaning without rupturing the acne sores.
  • The moisturizer chosen should be specifically for the treatment of acne, identifiable by a few key ingredients such as benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid, both of which are instrumental in assisting the treating and lessening of acne sores.
  • Choosing the best moisturizer for your acne-prone skin will be one that will not further irritate your acne by being cosmetic or heavy and pore filling. This moisturizer should be oil-free and with the best of ingredients, be anti-bacterial to help your acne-prone skin to resist any further break-outs.

When considering the moisturizers available on the market today, following these simple steps could save you a lot of time, money, and further aggravation of your acne condition as well. When in doubt, consult your doctor or dermatologist for further instructions or information concerning any topical creams, ointments, or moisturizers you are considering, before applying them. As with any other health related decisions, consulting your doctor or dermatologist is advised for any and all steps in your treatment and recovery as well. Your continued health and happiness are both vastly important, and remembering not to compromise either is a wise decision on your part.
